"I haven't been riding for about 5 years. My wife and I rode a lot together, but I sold my bike for personal reasons but we kept her 636. Well I recently bought another bike and needed to get all set up again, not only for me but my wife also. So we went into the local Redding CA cycle gear. We told our story and they genuinely listened and welcomed us back to the Motorcycle riding family. Help with all sorts of questions.
I think the coolest thing is that they have mixed gender employees, that were both experienced and provided great info on everything. The lady that helped was awesome for my wife as they can relate more to each other.
We are getting ready for a fall riding trip with some friends of mine and the lady showed my wife all the winter/ colder riding gear all the way down to all the heated gear options as my wife is very cold blooded and needs all the warmth she can get.
The she was not only great for my wife but also for me with all the knowledge she had for winter riding and staying warm.
The man at cycle gear was also great to talk to as I was looking at all the helmet Bluetooth setups, and he had first hand knowledge of them because he also had them and pointed me to the setup he felt was best for us from his own personal experience.
A store for riders by riders is spot on from tires to gear they know because they use it also, nobody was pushy or exhausted from our questions.
The employees at Redding cycle gear are top notch and were just great to deal with.
